Working with me is simple
Some people know exactly what they want to ask. Others just know they’re confused. Both are fine starting points.
Here’s what actually happens.
1. Let’s talk
You call, text or send me a message, and we set up a time. The first conversation is about you — your situation, your doctors, your prescriptions, what you’re worried about, what you don’t understand yet.
There’s nothing to prepare and nothing to bring. If you have a list of your medications and your doctors handy, that’s useful later, but it isn’t required to start.
2. Explore your options
I’ll walk you through the coverage options available to you and explain how each type works. This is the part where the vocabulary starts making sense — what the parts do, how they fit together, and which questions actually matter for someone in your situation.
If we’re going to discuss specific plans, there’s a form called a Scope of Appointment that Medicare requires beforehand. It simply records which types of coverage you’ve agreed to discuss. It doesn’t commit you to anything, and I’ll explain it when we get there.
3. Compare
We focus on what matters to you. We’ll look at the things that can make a real difference in your coverage – your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and how you use your healthcare. Then we’ll compare your options together, so you can understand the differences in plans and feel good about the coverage you choose.
4. Choose with confidence
Once you understand your options, the decision is yours. If you’re ready to enroll, I’ll be there to make the process simple. If you’d rather take some time to think about it, that’s perfectly fine too.
Do I have to enroll in a plan when I talk with you?
No.
My role is to help you understand your options. If you’re not ready to make a decision, you can take the time you need.
What it costs you
Nothing. There’s no charge to meet with me, ask questions, or get help understanding your Medicare options. And there is no cost to you for my assistance if you decide to enroll in a plan. My goal is to help you understand your choices and find coverage that fits your needs.
What I can and can’t do
I want to be straightforward about this.
I’m a licensed insurance agent, and I can only discuss and offer the plans I’m licensed and contracted to sell. I don’t offer every plan available in your area.
That means the honest thing to tell you is this: if you want a complete picture of everything available where you live, visit Medicare.gov and call 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY: 1-877-486-2048), available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program offers free counseling too.
I’m here to listen, explain things clearly, and help you make sense of your options. You don’t have to navigate Medicare alone.
