Meet Lisa

“Ask Lisa. She’ll know who to call.”

I’m a native Floridian — born and raised in St. Petersburg, a graduate of St. Pete High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels. I love just about everything about Tampa Bay: the beaches, the sunsets, and a properly made Cuban sandwich.

For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in the non-profit world, connecting people with resources, solving problems, and helping them figure out where to turn when they need help. Throughout the years, I’ve become the person who friends, family and colleagues call when they have a question, need help finding a resource, want advice or an opinion. “Ask Lisa” has become a popular refrain!

How I got here

As friends and family members have approached Medicare age in recent years, I’ve seen how overwhelming it can be – so many choices, rules and details. There are a lot of choices, a lot of rules, and a lot of details that don’t explain themselves. And I’d been on the other side of that — turning to people I trusted to help me through decisions that mattered. Having someone walk alongside you makes a real difference.

So becoming a licensed insurance agent felt like a natural next chapter rather than a departure. Same work, different subject: listening, explaining, and helping people find their way.

What you can expect

I believe people deserve someone they can actually talk to — someone who will take the time to explain things in plain English and make sure you understand what you’re considering before you decide anything.

My hope is that I can make the process of navigating Medicare a little easier for you – and help you feel good about the choices you make.
